This
is an complex full featured computer. Built in 2003, it had many add-on
cards to allow music editing and
multi-monitor support. Most video cards did NOT have dual VGA output.
STATS
AMD XP 3000 / 1GB DDR 400Mhz / 4x 120GB WD 7200 RPM drives (RAID 0/1)
DVD Slot load / TDK DVD-Burner / ZIP Drive / Floppy Drive / Media Card Reader
Video & Audio cards / Adaptec RAID controller / ATI TV Tuner Card

First
version of this system. The motherboard is silver. Too bad the drives
are not silver.

As
nice looking of a board this SOYO is, its not worth the $250 price. It
comes with some of the most features
any motherboard had at that time. Today's $80 Gigabyte boards have more!
This board had many design
defects such as not able to line up with a $200+ case and erratic behavior.

Built
with a much better MSI motherboard. With 8/9 drives installed - a lot
of cabling was required along with
the four cooling fans. 3 out of 4 cards had wiring or cables.

Lit
up!. This side is blue, the other is red.

Without
the cover on, notice how much brighter the table surface is! You can see
the blue light bar.

The
right side of the case. A nice deep red. It looked better in real life,
really cool to see object have both
blue and red color falling on them. The problem with 3-windows cases is
that it requires a LOT more work
to hide the cabling. It took many hours just to cable this chassis.

Close
up of the insides. Notice the red on some of the tubes. The CPU cooling
fan itself is not lighted up.
Each of the round IDE cables were $14~20 each, depending on length..

How
it looks with the flash. More of the cables are visible.

Examples
of cable routing. Noticed how they are looped around the fans as well
as each other.

An
example of hiding some of the wiring. These are not viewable with the
case covers on.

This
particular case uses a motherboard tray (rare) which has its PROs and
CONs. More cons unless you use
your computer outside the case frequently for testing and changing hardware.
Otherwise, to work on the computer, you must unhook everything.

Packed
for transport.
